We have enjoyed a standout period of progress from our students recently and the team at SFT are proud of the hard work and dedication shown by each pilot. We are pleased to be able to share some of these achievements with you, so please join us in congratulating all of our latest SFT high achievers.
Adam - PPL

Well done to Adam Rogers who passed his PPL with us recently. Adam and Examiner Steve headed through the Richmond VFR Lane on a lovely Saturday morning. Adam has returned to flying after a break of more than 10 years and is delighted to be able to continue his flying journey. Well done, Adam, we wish you blue skies and happy landings in your future aviation endeavours.
Lockie - CPL

Hugh congratulations to Lockie Austin for achieving his CPL! Lockie started at Sydney Flight Training as a hangar hand/aircraft cleaner at the end of 2024 and then began his flight training with us. Lockie has successfully completed his training from beginner to CPL in less than 18 months, demonstrating his hard work and dedication. We wish Lockie all the best as he launches his career as a commercial pilot.
Hengyi – First Solo

Congratulations to Hengyi who achieved his first solo! Hengyi has been training hard with Instructor Josh and headed out into the circuit on a sunny Saturday morning with Instructor Kate who then sent him out solo. We look forward to seeing his progress through to RPL and beyond. Well done!
Jesse - First Solo

Our congratulations go to Jesse on achieving his first solo. Jesse has been flying with Instructors Kate and Clarissa and working hard towards reaching this important milestone. He enjoyed beautiful conditions on the day and when Kate stepped out of the aircraft, Jesse took to the skies by himself. A fantastic achievement.
Jack - Multi Engine Class Rating

Congratulations to Jack who passed his Multi-Engine Class Rating and Instrument Rating. Jack is an Air Force pilot who flew C-130J Hercules and wanted to convert his licence from military to civil. Believe it or not, the Seminole was the first aircraft he has ever flown with two engines! Jack flew with Instructor Mark Kelly for his training and conversion flight tests, and we wish him all the best as he pursues his civil aviation career. Well done Jack
