Single Engine Night VFR Rating

Enjoy the experience of flying at night under the Night Visual Flight Rules (NVFR). The NVFR Rating allows you to fly at night under fair weather conditions, whether to simply take in the view or, to remove the time pressure of last light on a cross country exercise. Try flying the Sydney Harbour Scenic under the shade of darkness!

The NVFR Rating can be undertaken in our PA28 Piper Warrior, PA28RT Piper Arrow or SR20 Cirrus type aircraft. This course also makes use of our CASA approved ELITE Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD). This device allows you to learn and practice controlling an aircraft under conditions of reduced illumination in a safe environment.
