SFT Events for 2026 – Register Your Interest
We have a number of events planned for 2026 and are currently gathering expressions of interest while details are being finalised. If any of the below sound appealing, please complete the form to let us know what you’d like to be involved in. Registering your interest helps us with planning and ensures you’ll receive updates as information becomes available.
New Airpsace Information Sessions
New procedures take effect from 9th July 2026. Join us for an information session to understand what's coming and how to prepare.

Information Sessions are presented by Sydney Flight Training Head of Operations, Peter Edwards on the following dates:

Saturday 18th April, 11-12pm, 1-2pm

Saturday 4th July, 11-12pm, 1-2pm

All pilots operating from SFT out of Bankstown are required to attend at least one session.​ Topics include the new lane procedures, flight planning requirements and simulator preparation options.​
Wings Over Shellharbour

Fly-in or drive-in from Sydney to this popular coastal airshow showcasing historic, military, modern and aerobatic aircraft including the Sky Aces Formation team. Register your interest below to attend with SFT.
Pacific Airshow Long Weekend Flyaway
14th-17th August 2026
​
SFT are heading up the coast for a weekend flyaway to enjoy two days of action-packed flying over one of Australia’s most iconic beaches. World renowned aerobatics displays, historic warbirds, and the largest line-up of active military aircraft from both Australia and the United States in the Southern Hemisphere.
Depart Bankstown on Friday morning, enjoy two full days at the airshow and then fly home on the morning of Monday 17th August. Not to be missed!
Warbirds Downunder at Temora
October 2026 (date TBC)

An incredible line-up of historic warbirds and active military aircraft. Temora is approximately 2hrs South-West of Bankstown making it a great destination for a navigation flight, a day of watching aircraft displays before returning home in the afternoon. Register your interest to be notified as details are confirmed.
