Sydney Flight Training recently held its 2025 Wings Night, an evening to celebrate student achievements, connect with like-minded individuals, and share an enjoyable evening of food and entertainment.

This year, the event was held in the SFT hangar against the backdrop of NFR, JKE, PIE, KKB - and a beautiful moonlit sky. With over 80 guests in attendance we collectively celebrated over 40 student achievements - a true testament to the hard work and dedication of both the students and instructors.

We were entertained throughout the evening by the talented Justin McCoy and his brilliant band 'Highly Strung', with Justin also taking professional photos during the evening and presentations.

Delicious food was provided by Dino's Pizza and our guest speaker was SFT's very own Mark Kelly who regaled us with stories of flying the F111 Fighter during his air force days - a fascinating insight into his former career.*

A huge thank you to all the friends and family who were able to join our wonderful students and share in their achievements. Our thanks also go to the entire team at Sydney Flight Training who made the evening possible.

As our students continue their aviation journeys, we look forward to celebrating many more achievements at the next Wings Night!

*If you would like to learn more about Mark Kelly's adventures in the F111 Fighter, his experiences flying the DHC-4 Caribou and his final flight in the Boeing 747 Queen of the Skies, take some time to browse though all of our SFT Stories on the News Page.
