SFT Student Achievements Round-Up

Our Sydney Flight Training students have enjoyed a steady stream of achievements recently and we extend our congratulations to all of them. We are always excited to witness their continued growth as they reach for their aviation goals.

Adam - Recreational Pilot Licence

Congratulations to Adam Brown who achieved his RPL recently! Adam has been working hard at his flight training over the last couple months with instructor Kate and can now take himself and passengers within 25nm of his departure aerodrome! We’re excited to see Adam progress to his PPL training.

Lucas - First Solo

Well done to Lucas Lau who completed his First Solo, a huge milestone. Lucas picked a beautiful CAVOK day to fly with instructor Aaron for the check, and Lucas noted how well the aircraft climbed without the Instructor on board during his solo flight! Good luck with your future training Lucas, we look forward to sharing your progress at Sydney Flight Training.

Jeremy - First Solo

Congratulations to Jeremy Vun for achieving his First Solo. Jeremy and instructor Peter made the most of the calm, early morning weather conditions for the solo check, before Peter stepped out of our Warrior IJD and sent Jeremy solo! Well done Jeremy, we are looking forward to seeing your future progress with Sydney Flight Training.

Tim - Commercial Pilot Licence

A massive congratulations goes to Tim Richards for passing his CPL flight test! Tim has completed his RPL, PPL, MEA, and IR with Sydney Flight Training and we are very proud to see him complete his commercial licence! We are looking forward to seeing where his aviation career will go from here. Congratulations again Tim, an absolutely outstanding achievement.

Terry - First Solo

A huge well done to Terry Tang for achieving his First Solo! Terry is a student from Hong Kong hoping to get into the Cathay Pacific cadet pilot program, and came to Australia for a few weeks to carry out flight training towards his first solo. Despite a few rainy days, Terry was able to complete his solo in just 12 hours - a testament to his hard work and dedication! We wish Terry all the best as he applies for the cadetship, and wish him safe skies and happy landings in his future endeavours!

Lockie - Recreational Pilot Licence

Congratulations to Lockie who recently achieved his RPL! Lockie has been training with us since November and works with the team on a Saturday washing aircraft, tidying the hangar, and doing jobs to help around the school. Instructor Kate has trained Lockie to a high standard, preparing him for the test with examiner Steve, where they had lovely weather and a pleasant flight. We look forward to seeing Lockie's progress through to PPL and beyond!

Jelle – First Solo

Huge congratulations to Jelle who completed his First Solo! Jelle has been diligently training with Instructor Kate through to his solo and he headed into the circuit on a sunny Saturday with Instructor Kayla before achieving his milestone. We wish Jelle the best of luck as he continues his training and look forward to seeing him progress towards his next milestone.

Lucas– First Solo

Congratulations to Lucas Joyce who completed his first solo this recently! Lucas and instructor Pete went flying on a sunny Saturday and he flew very well. His mum was waiting for him back on the ground, very excited and proud! Well done again! We look forward to watching Lucas progress throughout the rest of his RPL.
